Dr Ana Iacob
is a medical doctor, specialised in Adult Psychiatry. She has a special interest in nutritional psychiatry as she believes that lifestyle choices have an impact on both physical and mental well-being.
Dr Ana Iacob was born in Romania and did her specialty studies in France. She studied Eating Disorders at University of Paris Descartes and she is now working in the Liaison-Consultation Psychiatric Department for the Valais Hospital in Switzerland. She uses behavioural and cognitive therapy in order to help her patients incorporate healthier habits. She discusses nutrition, stress management and physical activity with all her patients. She embrases a simple, whole-foods, low carbohydrate diet and fasting both personally and professionally.
In her free time, she enjoys travelling the world, snowboarding the Swiss Alps and reading.
